Studied architecture in Budapest and Berlin and taught at a bilingual secondary school for engineering and architecture in Budapest from 2002 to 2019. Since 2012 together with Johannes he organizes and manages architectural walks. The architectural guide “Architekturführer Budapest” co-written by them was published in 2012 in German and in 2014 in Hungarian. Since 2015 Arne continues the running of the business under the name of GA Budapest.
János Klaniczay studied architecture at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where he became interested in walking tours at an early age. Since 2014 he joined KÉK – Centre for Contemporary Architecture as a volunteer, where he is responsible for various projects in addition to guided tours. János considers it important to promote interest and understanding of the built environment among locals and tourists alike.
